Application forms for Secondary School may be obtained from the School Office or submitted electronically upon request.
Year 7 Entry
The Year 7 entrance examination is held twice yearly (November and March) and consists of:
- Online CAT4 Assessment (covering verbal, spatial, quantitative, and non-verbal reasoning).
- Separate English and Mathematics assessments.
- Face-to-face interview (parent/guardian must be present)
If a pupil does not meet the required standard, a meeting may be held to discuss areas for improvement and, where appropriate, the possibility of reassessment.

Years 8–11 Entry
For entry into Years 8–11, the same entrance process applies. Applications may be submitted at any point during the academic year, subject to availability.

Admission Process
Admission into Ocean Crest School requires that applicants:

Meet the minimum age requirement.

Submit all required documentation.

Successfully complete an entrance assessment.

Participate in an interview (where applicable).
The school reserves the right to withhold admission from any applicant who does not meet the stated requirements. If key information is knowingly concealed, the school also reserves the right to rescind an offer of admission.
Placement is determined by the child’s age as of 31st August, in line with the British academic year. The school reserves the right to assess and determine the most appropriate year placement where a child’s academic readiness, developmental needs, or educational background suggests an alternative placement may be more suitable.

Emergency contact details, including telephone numbers we can use to reach you when necessary
