ASSOCIATION OF ESAN PROFESSIONALS
The Association of Esan Professionals (AEP), is a socio-cultural and nonpartisan body, established in February 2001; made up of distinguished Esan sons and daughters who are accomplished professionals, and have excelled in various fields of human endeavor.
These Esan sons and daughters are united in confronting the challenge of liberating their motherland from the vicious cycle of poverty, illiteracy and under development. They are determined to deploy their professional competences and skills to improve the living standard of their motherland.
Towards this, AEP adopted a number of measures, and these include the establishment of a special purpose vehicle – the AEP Education Foundation Trust Fund, to enable the Association intervene, in a structured and sustainable manner, in the promotion and development of education in Esanland because we are convinced that the only way to ensure that Esan people remain relevant in the ever changing world is to evolve enduring strategy for the education of its sons and daughters from generation to generation.

OUR MISSION
To emancipate Esanland from the vicious cycle of poverty through the collaborative effort of her sons and daughters everywhere, by complementing the role of the government and elected officers irrespective of their political leanings, at all levels of governance, in the overall development of Esanland and the economic empowerment of Esan people.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
- To purse the social, political and economic development of Esanland.
- To develop a sense of oneness among Esan Professionals across the world.
In order to realize the above objectives, the Association of Esan Professionals will implement the following:
- Pay attention to human capital development especially the youths in Esanland by assisting in preparing them for positions of responsibility in their chosen fields..
- Provide assistance to others involved in the economic development of Esanland
- Encourage educational development of Esanland by setting up and Education Foundation Trust Fund to be known as “Association of Esan Professionals Foundation Trust Fund”
- Create awareness and pride in the language and cultural values of Esan people by encouraging the study and use of Esan Language.
- Serve as a forum for intellectual exchange of ideas, aimed at meeting the socio-economic needs of Esanland.
- Participate on a non-partisan basis in the political education and orientation of Esan people
- Provide assistance to a member in need when necessary
